Theme: Sorrowful yet always rejoicing (2 Cor 6 v 10)

The Parish Weekend at Home, 2026, takes place on 18-20th September. 

This is a weekend of bible teaching, worship, fellowship together over tea/coffee/meals together, workshops, quizzes, and games, with children’s activities during the main sessions.

There will be four main bible teaching sessions  on the theme “Sorrowful yet always rejoicing; following Jesus, enjoying his grace with the joy and tears; knowing God in the highs and lows”. The topic will be explored over the weekend by studying passages from both the old and new testament.

Our speaker is Keith Sinclair, Bishop of Birkenhead 2007 to 2021 and former National Director of the Church of England Evangelical Council.
