When?

The café takes place every Thursday between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

Where?

At the back of the St John’s church building.

What?

St John’s is a church with hospitality at its heart and a passion for reaching out to the community around it, providing a safe and friendly space for regulars, visitors and passers-by to drop in for a chat and a hot drink (with cake!). Sitting at a table with others is encouraged and all manner of animated conversations take place, as well as prayer if needed.

Also present every week are two debt coaches from our Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre, who speak to those who are anxious about debt or have money worries. The debt coaches may also, on occasion, use the café as an anonymous space to meet with clients to discuss progress or go over paperwork.
