Flower group

St John's is an old and lovely church, and we are lucky to have a flower group whose members create beautiful flower displays each week to compliment and enhance the building and it's features, as well as showing off the glory of God's creation. For special events and festivals in the church calendar our floral group really pulls out all the stops and the church has many visitors who call in to admire the flowers....

Crafty ladies

When? Every 1st and 3rd Thursday, from 7:30pm. Where? In the St John's Schoolroom's building in the ground floor room. What? This friendly, relaxed group was started as a way of creating banners and furnishings for our church building. As well as putting their creative skills to work, this group provides a great opportunity to invite along those on the fringes of church life, enables relaxed conversations and the building of friendships.

The Rector has a legal responsibility to be satisfied that you can lawfully marry in the parish before any arrangements...

Youth @ St John’s

Our key aims are to see the young people of Yeovil coming to know and love Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, fully grasping God’s amazing, gracious love for them; and then helping them to grow into mature disciples who are equipped to live out, and be active in sharing the good news of Jesus with others. In order to work towards these goals, we have a variety of activities for 11-18 year olds. Friday Youth Who? School...
