Many of you will be aware that parking on a Sunday morning at St. John’s is somewhat of a challenge, and is likely to be more of a challenge in the future if the council’s plans go ahead. In the meantime, there is a real issue for the elderly; for frail members of our church family and also those with very limited mobility. Last Sunday, two of those most in need of a space nearby almost had to turn around and go home because they arrived to find no parking spaces in the road directly outside of Church. We are therefore asking that if you’re fit and able, would you please park in either the North Lane or Court Ash car parks (off Princes Street) and that people should only park in the 5-space church car park if they are either taking part in the service or have limited mobility. Many thanks.
